Jody Karam

Throughout his professional life, Jody Karam has focused his energy on developing and maintaining relationships. Jody first noted the synergies between relationships and success while he was in the midst of his Hall of Fame wrestling career as a Division 1 athlete at Lock Haven University. It was the relationships with his coaches and teammates that provided the love, support, and mentorship Jody needed to reach his potential.
After graduating from college with a Bachelors of Sciences, Jody continued his education and earned a Masters in Education from Wilkes University while beginning his career as a professional educator. In addition to teaching, Jody was tapped to serve as the Head Wresting Coach at Liberty High School where he was named District XI Coach of the Year by the Morning Call and Express Times while compiling the most wins in the history of the Bethlehem Area School District.
Even more important than his professional life, Jody is a dedicated husband and father. Jody is particularly proud of the successes of his children. His son Sage is a 5-time Indianapolis 500 racer with a top 10 finish to his name, and his daughter Sydnee is a Division 1 college swimmer. Jody and his wife Karen are proud to have provided the encouraging home environment his children needed to achieve success and reach their own potential.
Success and service are not typically considered analogous terms. But Jody credits much of his success to his service. He believes his incredible coaching career has as much to do with ability and effort as it does with the relationships he has fostered and the sense of community he has established.
